The North Face recently launched their Mountain Athletics brand targeted at those of us who love to get sweaty outdoors. Mountain Athletics includes a line of performance gear, a workout app, athletic events, and online inspiration – pretty much the whole package when it comes to supporting a fit life.

As part of their Mountain Athletics launch, The North Face is sponsoring a free workout series in five cities across the country: New York, DC, Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco.

Get your sweat on for zero dollars every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm, rain or shine. The workout are led by expert trainers and focus on bodyweight interval training. Each day is different, so you never know what the challenge will be until you show up. Think of it like the post-work cousin of the November Project.

IMG_0205.JPGAs a The North Face local ambassador here in New York City, I attended the first workout a few weeks ago and plan to be at a few more in the coming months. It was a lot of fun despite our frigid weather conditions on that cold March day – we had a small yet enthusiastic crowd of athletes brave the sleet and freezing temperatures. Luckily, Old Man Winter seems to have finally skipped town for the year and the weather has become a lot more hospitable for working out outdoors.
